Chinese laughing thrush

I watched the 'Wild China' documentary a while ago in which they showed this bird. Apparently many people keep it as a pet because of its song, but they explained that the birds can become depressed without interaction with others. So in Beijing owners gather in a park and hang their birds in their cages from tree branches where they can see and interact with the other birds. I thought it was an interesting little story. I'm thinking of making a slightly larger version of this as well, I'd love to hear your thoughts.
